Overwatch 3D Designs
The San Francisco Shock are an American professional Overwatch esports team based in San Francisco, California - the home of earthquakes, which launched the theming of the brand for the 2022 season of Overwatch League.
For this project, I crafted distinctive posters with Blender 3D, tailoring each to the theme of its respective tournament location. The designs varied, featuring the urban vibe of Dallas, the sun-soaked beaches for the Hawaii tournament, and the icy allure of a hockey rink for Toronto. My goal was to infuse each poster with a unique atmosphere, highlighting the diverse essence of each tournament, yet maintaining an overall sense of unity.
To achieve this, my workflow involved customizing the appearance of models for each team, arranging dynamic poses in Blender, constructing captivating scenes, and finalizing touches through Photoshop.
During my tenure at TSM, I had the privilege of designing 3D posters for Apex Legends. This involved developing unique custom skins for TSM Apex characters, orchestrating dynamic poses, and crafting entire scenes tailored to each tournament. These scenes not only captured the essence of the event but also incorporated distinct branding elements for each occasion.
Although these following weren’t done for professional reasons, I wanted to increase my own skills and play around with more playful 3D designs, so I created some for Pokémon and Animal Crossing!
